Itinerary for the Home Stretch

For those of you curious where we will be and when, here is our tentative itinerary for the home stretch of our trip, with starts with our departure from Guanajuato this Friday.

Fri., Oct. 31: Afternoon trip to San Miguel de Allende to see Emily's Uncle John
Sat., Nov. 1: Celebrate Día de Muertos in San Miguel
Sun., Nov. 2: AM travel to and evening in Zacatecas
Mon., Nov. 3: Morning in Zacatecas (including visit to an old mine) before afternoon travel to Durango
Tues., Nov. 4: Election day in Durango, including a visit to an old western movie set. Overnight travel to Mazatlan
Wed., Nov. 5: Explore Mazatlan
Thurs., Nov. 6: Mazatlan
Fri., Nov. 7: Travel to Los Mochis
Sat., Nov. 8: Train ride through the Barranca de Cobre from Los Mochis, getting off in Creel to spend time exploring the Copper Canyon
Sun., Nov. 9: Hiking, horseback riding, or some other fun outdoorsness in Creel
Mon., Nov. 10: Morning in Creel before PM travel to Chihuahua
Tues., Nov. 11: Explore (and shop for cowboy boots!) in Chihuahua. Overnight travel to the border, if not all the way to Tucson.
Wed., Nov. 12: Home in Tucson!
